Vision Statement

Andrew’s choreographic work seeks to speak the truth about the life they lead, from the everyday emotional struggles to the more esoteric questions that circle their thoughts. They attempt to play back the world they see around them, whether they are political constructs they rails against, or the ever-pervading pop-culture nonsense of which they partake.

 

Their work is grounded in personal inquiry in an attempt to discover, understand, grow and yet, hardly ever, make sense of. Andrew’s process is an attempt to physically place the thoughts and repetitive questions that take up residence in their brain, while being careful to take care to empathize with whatever fantasy, obsession or self-loathing they harbor, to push into catharsis and clarity and repel stagnation.
